Last year, Apple introduced the M1 ARM processor for laptops.similar in terms of
WinFuture reported that Qualcomm is preparing its answer to Apple's M1 processor in the form of a new generation of Snapdragon chips for laptops.Qualcomm SC8280, a likely successor to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8cx and 8cx Gen 2, appeared in one of the databases.Unlike these chips, the new one will be able to support more than 16GB of RAM.
It is reported that the SC8280 die will be larger at 20 x 17 mm (8cx had 20 x 15 mm).Sources also write that the platform may include more than eight cores.In the meantime, the chip is being tested with 32GB of LPDDR4X memory. SoCs canrelease in more affordable and Pro versions.
The chip is still under development.
