Quantum charging will allow record-breaking fast charging of electric vehicles

Scientists from the Center for Theoretical Physics of Complex Systems at the Institute of Basic Sciences (IBS) have investigated whether it is possible

whether to use quantum technologies for morefast charging of electric car batteries. They said quantum entanglement would come in handy in this process. It will allow you to use all the cells inside the battery at the same time.

They also told how charging will workof the future, using the example of a typical electric car with a 200-cell battery. The use of quantum technologies will speed up this process by 200 times: charging time at home will be reduced from 10 hours to 3 minutes. At high-speed charging stations, charging time will be reduced from 30 minutes to a few seconds. Scientists also found that the maximum charging speed increases linearly with the number of cells in classic batteries.
