What is known

Laser installation focused on destructionair targets, including enemy short-range unmanned aerial vehicles. Last fall, the US Air Force and Raytheon Technologies tested a laser weapon system. The tests took place at the New Mexico test site for four days.

H4 has a power of 10 kW. The laser system is located on a wheeled chassis. Raytheon Technologies donated eight laser weapon systems to the Pentagon in total. Half of them are for the US Air Force.

In addition to the laser itself, the system includes an electro-optical / infrared sensor, a laptop and a controller. The H4 laser system can be integrated into an air defense system.

Raytheon Technologies built the world's first laser weapons factory. The company is located in Texas. The creation of the 10 kW H4 laser machine took nine months.
