Razer launches sales of RGB backlit face shield with voice enhancer

Razer announced the release of its protective mask to the commercial market.

We remind you that the mask

presented as part of Project Hazelat the beginning of the year at CES 2021, but until now it was just a concept. It is made of scratch-resistant materials and has ear loops with adjustable length. And the filtration system filters out about 95% of small particles.

In addition, the mask is equipped with a built-in microphoneand a speaker that amplifies the owner’s voice during a conversation. Well, of course, it couldn’t be done without RGB backlighting. The kit includes a charging case with a UV sterilization function.

“We thought that this project would remain soconcept and doubted its relevance when the global vaccination of the population begins. And yet we decided to continue its implementation and are going to actually deliver a smart mask. We're going to do that, and I think we're all going to be wearing masks for a long time, unfortunately,” Razer CEO Min-Liang Tan said in an interview with Yahoo Finance.

Unfortunately, he did not specify either the cost or the start date of sales.
