Razer Releases Free Upgrade to Overclock Viper Mini Signature Edition Wireless Mouse to 8000Hz

A few days ago, Viper Mini ownersSignature Edition has received a free download of an update that increases the wireless mouse's polling rate to 8000 Hz. Starting April 24, Razer will automatically update software.

The mouse's native polling rate is 4000 Hz.Razer has so far refused to reveal the secret to boosting the frequency through a firmware update. Apparently, the Viper Mini Signature Edition supported 8000Hz polling rate at the hardware level, but this option was initially disabled.

Viper Mini Signature Edition is the flagshipRazer gaming mouse. Like the Viper 8KHz model, it supports Hyperpolling Wireless technology. The accessory weighs less than 50 g, received third-generation optical switches and a Razer Pro 30K optical sensor.
