Realme GT Neo: World's First Smartphone with MediaTek Dimensity 1200 Processor

A month after the announcement of Realme GT, the Chinese manufacturer showed its simplified version with the Neo prefix in

name.

What a beast

The device received the same design, new colorscases and another processor. Instead of the Snapdragon 888, the Realme GT Neo was equipped with a simpler SoC MediaTek Dimensity 1200. It is comparable in power to the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and is built on a 6-nanometer process technology. The Dimensity 1200 has a built-in 5G modem, as well as three Cortex-A78 cores at 2.6 GHz, one Cortex-A78 core at 3.0 GHz and four Cortex-A55 at 2.0 GHz. By the way, Realme GT Neo is the first smartphone on the market with such a chip on board.

As for other specifications of the device, thenthey are almost the same as the regular version of the device. Realme GT Neo received a flat 6.43-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution and a frequency of 120 Hz, stereo speakers, a headphone jack, a 4500 mAh battery, 50 W fast charging, a 16 MP front camera and a main one with three sensors. The main sensor is Sony IMX682 64 MP. It is complemented by an 8MP wide-angle lens and a 2MP macro lens. The new product has an under-screen fingerprint scanner.
