Realme X50: almost the cheapest 5G smartphone with Snapdragon 765G, 64 megapixel camera and dual front-facing

At Christmas, the Realme brand decided to hold a presentation in China and presented the new flagship Realme X50, which will become

main competitor of Redmi K30.

Filling

Realme X50 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G processor and supports 5G for both SIM cards. You can combine Wi-Fi and 5G for a more efficient connection.

A five-cell cooling system is responsible for the temperature, and a 4200 mAh battery with fast charging VOOC Flash Charge 4.0 at 30 W is responsible for autonomy. There is NFC and Bluetooth 5.0.

The new product runs under the Realme UI shell based on Android 10.

Appearance

The smartphone has a 6.57-inch IPS LCD displaywith an aspect ratio of 20:9, a resolution of 2400×1080 pixels and a refresh rate of 120 Hz. There is a cutout cut into the screen for the dual front camera. The fingerprint scanner is located at the end.

Cameras

As already written above, the front camera here is double - 16 megapixels (Sony IMX471, f/2.0) + 8 megapixels (f/2.2).

The main camera has four modules:64-megapixel main sensor Samsung ISOCELL Bright GW1 (f/1.8) + 8-megapixel wide-angle with a viewing angle of 119 degrees (f/2.3) + 12-megapixel telephoto (f/2.5) + 2-megapixel macro sensor (f/2.4 ).

A 20x hybrid zoom and UIS/UIS Max electronic image stabilization are announced.

When and how much

The start of sales in China is scheduled for January 14. There are two colors to choose from: Glacier Blue and Polar Silver.

The cheapest version with 8/128 GB costs $360.Redmi K30 5G with the same amount of memory will cost $375. Therefore, for now, Realme X50 gets the title of the cheapest 5G smartphone. True, on January 14, Redmi will release two more versions of the K30: with 6/64 GB for $285 and with 6/128 GB for $330.

For the version of Realme X50 with 6/256 GB you will have to pay $388, for 12/256 GB - $432. There will also be a special version of the Realme X50 Master Edition with 12/256 GB and a textured back cover for $446.
