At the end of 2022, Xiaomi decided to introduce another new product - the budget smartphone Redmi 12C.

Redmi 12C received a 6.71-inch HD+ displaywith small bezels and a waterdrop notch for a 5MP selfie camera. On the back panel there is a main camera unit with two modules. The main sensor is 50-megapixel, and the manufacturer does not indicate the resolution of the second, but most likely it is a depth sensor.

The Helio G85 processor is installed insideand a 5000 mAh battery. There are several versions to choose from with 4 GB/64 GB, 4 GB/128 GB and 6 GB/128 GB memory. The smartphone runs MIUI 13 (probably based on Android 12).
In addition, the smartphone has a microUSB port, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack.
Redmi 12C costs from $100 to $130 depending on the version. In China, sales will start on January 1, and nothing is yet known about availability in other markets.
