Xiaomi is preparing the MIUI 14 update for the once popular and inexpensive smartphones of 2020 from the Redmi 9 lines
What to expect
It was previously assumed that these models were largerwill not receive the latest versions of the proprietary MIUI shell. And all because several years have passed since their release, internal testing of MIUI was suspended, and the update to MIUI 13 did not go smoothly: the firmware was released very late and contained some bugs.
But, apparently, Xiaomi decided to rehabilitate itself beforeusers and release another update. It will be MIUI 14, but based on Android 12 and not the new Android 13. It will also be the last major MIUI update for devices.
So, MIUI 14 will receive the following smartphone models (some of them are clones for different markets):
- Redmi 9
- Redmi Note 9 (Redmi 10X 4G)
- POCO M2
- Redmi note 9s
- Redmi Note 9 Pro/Max
- Redmi Note 9 Pro 5G
- Redmi 10X 5G
- Redmi 10X Pro
- POCO M2 Pro
