Remasters of the first three Mortal Kombats will be released on PC and consoles in the Mortal Kombat Kollection Online

Capcom isn't the only one interested in remasters. It looks like the authors of Mortal Kombat decided to please their

fans with improved versions of the first three Mortal Kombat games.

What is known

Gematsu noticed that the rating commission websitePEGI has registered Mortal Kombat Kollection Online for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC and Nintendo Switch. Judging by the description, players will be offered an edition consisting of the first three games in the series with improved graphics.

"Mortal Kombat Kollection Online - the originalthe Mortal Kombat trilogy that Mortal Kombat fans have always wanted. Modernized art, gameplay and online features provide an incredible experience that revives a 'classic',” the description reads.

A remaster is being developed within the walls of Blind SquirrelGames, which was also responsible for BioShock: The Collection and Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition. The last time the Mortal Kombat Kollection Online was talked about was in April 2019, when news of the remaster's cancellation surfaced. Looks like Warner Bros. reconsidered her decision.

Following the project's quiet cancellation, Danny Huynh, concept artist and UI designer at Blind Squirrel Games, has shared the first screenshots of the remaster.
