Remedy wants a series based on Control and is already negotiating with the Star Wars screenwriter

Without a stretch, the plot of Control can be called strange and like a separate series. The game developers and themselves

We don’t mind releasing the project on TV screens, and we just got this opportunity.

What is known

Screenwriter of Rogue One.Star Wars: A Story" Gary Whitta hosted a session answering fan questions on Twitter. One of the users asked the writer: “What game would make a great movie? Would you like to write it?” Without further ado, Whitta wrote that Control was suitable for this role, and he would take it on.

Remedy didn't miss a beat by sendingto the negotiations of the public relations manager. A company representative responded to Whitta’s tweet, offering to chat, and the guys went to talk in private correspondence. After that, no one saw or heard them.

It can't be said yet that it's time for Control fansstock up on popcorn, but the chances of the series appearing have increased significantly. In addition, Quantum Break, another Remedy project, received its own series related to the plot of the game. It is possible that the developers wanted to repeat their plans, but the small budget forced them to curb their ambitions. Perhaps the studio has received enough money from the sales of Control and is ready to invest in a TV adaptation.
