Initially, it was stated that this would be a purely single-player game, but it is possible that network elements will still appear in it.

As the author of the Insider Gaming portal noted,The Respawn team has an open position for a Senior Gameplay Software Engineer who will be working on “a first-person shooter based on the Star Wars franchise.”
Applicant for this position must have experiencework on online games, which clearly hints at the appearance of the corresponding components in the new game. The addition of multiplayer options to the shooter is not surprising, since Respawn is just famous for its exciting competitive shooters, such as Titanfall and Apex Legends.
When to expect
The shooter hasn't even been officially presented to the public yet, so it's too early to talk about its release date.
