Rheinmetall will produce 300,000 ammunition for Ukrainian Gepard anti-aircraft guns - deliveries will begin in the fall

The German giant Rheinmetall will begin supplying the Armed Forces of Ukraine with 35 mm in the second half of 2023

ammunition for Gepard anti-aircraft self-propelled guns. This was stated by the director of the company's sales department at the FEINDEF 2023 exhibition in Spain.

Rheinmetall moves production facilities to Germany. According to a company representative, it will take a little more time to complete the process, after which the line will be able to operate at full capacity.

The German giant says it is not giving upplan to produce 300,000 35 mm ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine by the end of this year. The start of deliveries is scheduled for the first half of autumn.

Germany began to transfer anti-aircraft weapons to Ukraineself-propelled units last year. According to the German government, the Armed Forces of Ukraine received 34 anti-aircraft tanks. Three more units will be delivered next summer.
