
Croatian electric sports car maker Rimac and French automaker Bugatti
What is known
Companies will engage in the production of electricalhypercars. To do this, they will create the Bugatti Rimac enterprise, which will unite both brands. It is planned to be launched by the end of 2021. After this, Bugatti will be able to use Rimac's developments in the field of electric vehicles. Rimac, in turn, will use Bugatti technology. For example, those found in the Bugatti Veyron (one of the fastest cars in the world).

The new venture will be headquartered in Zagreb, Croatia. In the same city they plan to build a Rimac Campus for 2,500 employees for 200 million euros in 2023 for joint development.

Rimac will own 55% of the Bugatti Rimac enterprise, with Porsche owning the remainder. For those not in the know, the German manufacturer currently owns 24% of Rimac.
