Robots, artificial intelligence, blockchain: the future has arrived at a conference in Kazan

The large-scale event was organized by the Research Institute of Digital Technologies and Law of the Kazan Innovation Institute

University named after V.G. Timiryasova and the Ministry of Digital Development of Public Administration and Information Technologies.

The conference included presentations on the mostpopular and relevant topics in the world of digital technology and law. Thus, Elvira Talapina, chief researcher at the Institute of State and Law of the Russian Academy of Sciences, spoke about the main trends in law under the influence of digital technologies.

Also, not the conference presented reports from Belarus and Kazakhstan on the modern processes of digitalization of the state and the impact of "numbers" on the law.

The speaker of the plenary session wasAndrey Neznamov, Managing Director of the Center for Regulation of Artificial Intelligence of PJSC Sberbank. He spoke about the development of the ethics of artificial intelligence in Russia and in the world. The conference also discussed topical issues of regulation of marketplaces. Aleksey Minaev, Ph.D. in Social Sciences, Deputy Managing Director of OZON, made a presentation on this topic.

As part of the work of the sections, the experts touched upon a number ofissues related to digital technologies in the system of public law (state law) and criminal law relations, blockchain technologies, cryptocurrency, regulation of relations in the field of artificial intelligence technologies and robotics, intellectual property rights in the field of digital technologies and many others.

In addition, in the sectional discussions,participation of foreign speakers.
