Information appeared on the web that the departmentdemanded that Google remove the well-known browser from the Google Play app store. At the same time, it is not entirely clear what exactly threatens the company for refusing to comply with the requirement of Roskomnadzor.
The reason for deletion is the presence in Tor of information prohibited for distribution in Russia.
The court recognized the information contained in the Tor Browserprohibited for distribution on the territory of the Russian Federation, as well as the software application itself, which allows access to prohibited content and contributes to the commission of criminal offenses.
