Roskomnadzor has developed a program with AI "Oculus": it looks for prohibited information

A new AI-based program will search for extremist and pornographic materials and propaganda

drugs, calls for riots and suicide. Data will also be analyzed from social networks, for example, from Facebook.

Earlier, destructive content in Roskomnadzor was searched manually, and artificial intelligence will speed up the process, ”the documentation says.

Executive Director of Artezio Pavel Adylinstated that the development of "Oculus" could result in a number of problems. If images and videos are pre-checked, the speed of Internet access will slow down significantly

The work is planned to be completed by December 17. The cost of the tender is 15 million rubles.

On February 1, a law came into force in Russia, according to which social networks themselves must identify and block prohibited content.
