Rumors: Apple AR glasses may hit the market as early as 2022

In a Digitimes post citingInformation from the supply chain claims that Apple has completed the second stage of testing a prototype of the first AR headset in its history. Next, it is planned to move on to the next stage, which is called Engineering Verification Testing (EVT).

It is expected that mass production of the gadget will begin in the second quarter of 2022, and it will go on sale in the second half of 2022.

The report mentions that two majorApple products due next year are the Apple Car and the Apple AR headset. Ever since Ford lured away Apple Car chief executive Doug Field, rumors about an Apple car have dwindled, allowing the public to focus on the AR headset.
