Russia and China will create an international scientific lunar station

Госкорпорация «Роскосмос» и CNSA <…> will promote cooperation on the creation of international satellites with open access to all interested countries and international partners, with the goal of strengthening scientific and research cooperation and promoting the exploration and use of outer space for peaceful purposes in the interests of all mankind.

A message from a Russian state corporation

The countries will jointly create a roadmap for the construction of an international research station on the moon, according to a statement posted on CNSA's WeChat page.

This is how it is planned to jointly study the lunar surface and implement joint projects in lunar orbit.
