Russia demanded from Facebook to unblock the broadcast about Yuri Gagarin

Roskomnadzor demanded that the social network Facebook remove the block from the broadcast dedicated to Yuri’s flight

Gagarin into space.

The department sent a demand to Facebook management. It is alleged that the social network has introduced restrictions on live broadcasting. Roskomnadzor asked to explain the reason for this.

We are talking about a live broadcast from Russia Today, which took place on April 9. Cosmonauts Andrei Borisenko, Sergei Ryazansky and Anna Kikina participated in the program. The broadcast was broadcast on RT's official Facebook account. The social network blocked it, noting that the video violated copyright.

Roskomnadzor did not fail to note that Facebook's actions "again violate the key principles of the free flow of information and are an act of censorship."

The American company Facebook has not yet commented on the situation.
