Russia has opened tests of a new ammunition

The media learned that Russia intends to test the latest large-caliber guided ammunition for

self-propelled artillery installations (SAU) and towed artillery installations.

This is a 152-mm projectile, writes Military Review. It belongs to the guided type of high-explosive fragmentation ammunition 3OF95. Its upcoming tests became known from the Russian government procurement website.

Ammunition can be used by artillery piecesMsta-B and Msta-S, D-20, Akatsiya. And also, as the media clarifies, all guns that fit in caliber. Also, the ammunition is suitable for the "Coalition-SV" interspecific artillery complex.

Journalists learned that the new weapon will be tested at one of the training grounds in the Nizhny Novgorod region. The ammunition will receive several options for homing heads, inertial and satellite navigation systems.

Now Russia uses Krasnopol as a corrected artillery ammunition.
