The new technology, according to the press service of Rospotrebnadzor, allows the creation of reagents for detecting any mutations of the coronavirus, as well as other infections that require mass testing.
The new test system quickly detects the presence ofmutant strain, which is implemented through a special selection of oligonucleotides for effective amplification of the British mutation, and is designed for the maximum concentration of the virus. This avoids false positive results when detecting mutations for samples with very high viral loads.
