Russia used unmanned helicopters in military exercises

Their developer is a Russian companyTechnodinamika, part of the state corporation Rostec. According to the press service of the enterprise, unmanned helicopters have no analogues in Russia and are designed to simulate air targets in exercises.

These helicopters are part of the complex withunmanned aerial vehicles - simulator of air targets. The drone is capable of staying in the air for at least 2 hours, reaching a maximum altitude of 2.5 km. The maximum range of its radio communication is 100 km.

According to the General Director of TechnodinamikaIgor Nasenkov, the launch of these drones solved two tasks at once: practical actions were worked out to detect and eliminate a simulated air enemy; and also a check of the functionality and performance characteristics of the drone was carried out in the mountainous terrain where the exercises took place.
