The developers of the new aircraft carrier will apply the technical design, as well as the documentation, according to which the construction of Ulyanovsk was carried out in the late 80s and early 90s. In addition, the creators will take into account the experience of the practical operation of Admiral Kuznetsov, including its combat use in Syria.
Sources also said that the Navy(Navy) Russia has not yet issued tactical and technical specifications for a new aircraft carrier. Work on the task should be completed this year. Then it will go to the United Shipbuilding Corporation.
Recall that now in the Russian fleet there is one aircraft carrier - the Admiral Kuznetsov itself. At the moment, he is undergoing repairs with modernization.
