One of the main characteristics of the torpedo are callednoiselessness and secrecy - the projectile is almost impossible to detect at long range. The new torpedo is designed to be launched from submarines with 534 mm torpedo tubes equipped with electro-disruptive data input units.
“It can hit any surface and underwatertargets, stationary sea and coastal objects at a maximum distance of up to 18 kilometers in all water areas of the World Ocean in a complex interference environment, including in shallow water and under ice. It has a travel speed of 30 to 50 knots,” the corporation said.
