According to the chief of staff of the command of the submarineForces of the Pacific Fleet of Rear Admiral Arkady Navarsky, the association will receive new nuclear submarines: submarine 995 missile carriers of the Borey-A type and the 885 Yasen-M submarine. The construction of these submarines is almost completed, some of them are already undergoing sea trials.
It is noted that all submarines will be equipped withintercontinental ballistic missiles R-30 "Bulava", invulnerable to the anti-missile defense forces of a potential enemy due to ease of maintenance, as well as the ability to maneuver in the acceleration section.
