Russian scientist predicted powerful earthquakes throughout the Earth

Russian geophysicist Viktor Bokov predicted an increase in the frequency of earthquakes in

the next two decades across the globe.

The scientist shared information about his forecast withby the publication URA.RU. Bokov said that all earthquakes are tectonic processes involving the influence of the atmosphere on the earth's crust. Moreover, the atmosphere is capable of bending the soil up to 40 cm in the place where tectonic plates break. Therefore, the impact of atmospheric circulation, in this matter, is difficult to underestimate.

The scientist reported that there are two main forms of atmospheric circulation. One of them is associated with the Azores anticyclone, and the second – with Siberian.

”And that's when these meridional processesincrease, then there are more earthquakes. Especially powerful. This is due to the blocking of the atmosphere by powerful anticyclones. And now, for several years now, we have observed the predominance of meridional forms of circulation. And they will still prevail for about two decades, and this will lead to quite powerful earthquakes all over the globe, ”the scientist predicted.
