Russian scientists have created a smart wastewater treatment system

Typically, for industrial wastewater treatment, iron oxide is added to it - then the mixture is mixed and

settles for a certain time.Iron ions cause flakes of contaminants to form on the surface of the liquid, which are then filtered out - the resulting water is considered purified.

However, this process takes a long time.As a solution to this problem, researchers have developed a system for automatically treating industrial wastewater, which allows it to be done faster and without human intervention.

The system consists of a set of sensors, a controller and a filter made using iron ions, which passes wastewater through itself, purifying them.

“We have developed wastewater treatment technologywater from surfactants. The technology was patented just the other day and tested in the laboratory. Tests show good results: we achieve stable cleaning quality"
