Russian spacecraft set a record for flight speed to the ISS

Today we wrote that Russia successfully launched the Soyuz-2.1a launch vehicle into space with a cargo ship

"Progress MS-14". Now it has become known that the Russian spacecraft has set a record for the fastest flight to the International Space Station (ISS).

As Interfax writes, citing the words of the head of Roscosmos Dmitry Rogozin, the entire Progress MS-14 flight took 3 hours and 20 minutes. This was called the best result in all manned flights.

The previous record was set by the Progress MS-12 spacecraft, which last year was able to reach the ISS in almost the same period of time, but 30 seconds longer.

It is reported that Progress MS-14 delivered 2.5 tons of payload to the station, including fuel, food containers, medicines, sanitary and hygienic materials, etc.
