Ryse Aerotech tests $150,000 Recon eVTOL farming passenger drone

Ryse Aerotech has conducted flight tests of the Recon eVTOL aircraft for the first time.

designed for one person and focused onprimarily on farmers. With Recon eVTOL they will be able to inspect agricultural land. A pilot's license is not required to operate the aircraft.

Recon eVTOL is an ultra-light drone equipped with sixscrews. The mass of the aluminum frame is 130 kg. The design can support a pilot weighing up to 90 kg. The aircraft is equipped with an electric motor that allows speeds up to 93 km/h. The cruising speed is 65 km/h.

Flight control module received technologyobstacle detection and prevents the device from climbing to a height of more than 213 m. On a single battery charge, Recon eVTOL can fly for 25 minutes.

The start of sales of the aircraft is scheduled for 2023. The Recon eVTOL will cost $150,000.
