At the beginning of April 2019, the press service of S7 Spacereportedthat the floating platform will be relocated toRussian port in the Far East in 2020. Appropriate permission was obtained from the US Department of State. After moving to the territory of the Russian Federation, the launch platform and the assembly-command ship will be temporarily based at the Slavyansk Shipyard in the port of Slavyanka.
March 17 at 8:33 local time (1:33 Moscow time) the lead ship of Sea Launch, called Sea Launch Commander, arrived at the port of Slavyanka. According to the company, it left the port of Long Beach on the Los Angeles coast on February 28.
Two weeks later, the launch platform of the floating spaceport called Odyssey should arrive in the Russian port. She will be delivered by the Hong Kong transport ship Xin Guang Hua.
