The device was presented in October 2018 inChina. Then it appeared in India and other countries. Six months later, the manufacturer managed to sell more than 10 million units. In honor of this, the company has reduced the price of the version of the device with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of ROM to $193. Previously, they asked for about $210 for this configuration.

Let's remember that Honor 8X has a widescreen 6.5-inch IPS display 19.5:9 with a resolution of 2340×1080 pixels and a waterdrop notch. Under the hood of the smartphone there is a proprietary Kirin 710 processor, 4/6 GB of RAM and 64/128 GB of ROM. In addition, the device has a dual camera of 20 MP + 2 MP, an NFC chip, and a 3750 mAh battery with support for fast charging.
