Samsung has released a new software update for the budget smartphone Galaxy M31.
What is known
Firmware
received the build number M315FXXU2ATI4 and weighs 1.62 GB. It installed the September security patch and a new proprietary shell, One UI Core 2.1 (a simplified version of One UI 2.1) with many useful changes. For example, the developers changed the dark theme, improved colors and text display, and also added new navigation gestures, one-handed control mode, Digital Wellbeing feature, expanded battery information and much more.
When to expect
The system, as usual, is distributed in waves. Now smartphone owners in Thailand, Vietnam and the Philippines have begun to receive it. The software will appear in other regions a little later.
