Samsung Shows Benefits Of New Flagship Smartphone Processor In Video

Samsung has released an official video about the new flagship smartphone processor Exynos 1080. In it, the company

showed the key advantages of the platform.

The video runs for one and a half minutes. Samsung claims the Exynos 1080 is the 5G processor that makes smartphones fly. Yes, the platform has a built-in modem that can provide download speeds up to 5.1 Gbps.

The chipset also has a neural processing unit (NPU) for running artificial intelligence (AI) algorithms. It can potentially provide up to 5.7 trillion operations per second.

Additionally, the video mentions that Exynos 1080- one of the first chipsets to receive new Cortex-A78 cores. It has one Cortex-A78 running at 2.8 GHz and three Cortex-A78s running at 2.6 GHz. In addition, the CPU includes four energy-efficient Cortex-A55 cores at a frequency of 2.0 GHz.

Exynos 1080 is compatible with HDR10 + and frequencyrefresh the screen up to 144 Hz at Full HD + resolution. The platform also supports 200 megapixel cameras and can provide a 100% increase in multi-core performance test. The Exynos 1080 will debut on the Vivo smartphone in 2021.
