Samsung is working on a "budget" foldable smartphone: the new product will receive a form factor like the Galaxy Z Flip

Our colleagues at SamMobile have found out that Samsung is currently working on an inexpensive version of a foldable smartphone.

What is known

According to the source, the new product will have a form factor"folding beds". That is, the device will look like the Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Flip 5G. The smartphone comes with model number SM-F415. The letter F means that this is a foldable device from the Galaxy Z line. For comparison, the Galaxy Fold, Galaxy Z Flip and Galaxy Z Fold 2 are coded SM-F900, SM-F700 and SM-F916 respectively.

Unfortunately, there are not many details about the new product. It is only known that the device will receive two memory modifications with 64 and 128 GB drives, as well as three body colors: black, green and blue. It can also be assumed that the smartphone will be powered by a mid-range chip under the hood. Possibly a Qualcomm Snapdragon 700 series processor.

The cost of the device will definitely be less than $1000. It is unknown when it will be presented.
