Samsung Announces Galaxy M12 with Infinity-V Screen, 48MP Quad Camera and Side Scanner (Not Actually)

Remember we recently wrote that Samsung is preparing to release a budget smartphone Galaxy M12? So now

The device appeared on the company’s Vietnamese website.

What is known

There is no price tag or start date for sales of the Galaxy M12 yet. But the site revealed its images and basic specifications.

So, the new product has an Infinity-V display with6.5 inches diagonal and HD+ resolution. Under the hood of the device is an eight-core processor. The chip model is still unknown, but according to rumors, it is a proprietary SoC Exynos 850. It is paired with 3/4/6 GB of RAM and 32/64/128 GB of ROM. By the way, the built-in storage can be expanded with a microSD memory card.

Galaxy M12 also received an energy-intensive battery with6000 mAh with 15-watt charging, USB-C port, headphone jack, 8 MP front camera, main camera with 48 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP + 2 MP sensors and a simplified One UI Core 3.1 shell. There is no NFC module in the device.
