Samsung app reveals details about Galaxy Buds 2 TWS earbuds: new color and function, like Apple AirPods

Next month, Samsung should introduce new wireless headphones Galaxy Buds 2. In the meantime

the manufacturer is preparing a Galaxy Wearable application to support headphones, which reveals some details about the new product.

What is known?

Developer Tim Schneebergerreceived an early beta version of an unreleased plugin for the Galaxy Buds 2 on Samsung's update server, and it contains a lot of information about the upcoming headphones. Schneeberger disassembled the application, took screenshots and shared the information he received.

Firstly, Galaxy Buds 2 will have a featureavailable from its competitor - Apple AirPods. This is the ability to enable active noise cancellation for only one earphone. In addition, Samsung will allow the user to individually disable or enable the actions of the touchpad, which responds to different touches.

Secondly, the app reveals a new color for the headphones - yellow. Thus, Galaxy Buds 2 will be available in black, white, grey/green, purple and yellow.

Finally, the app also lists the battery capacity of the Buds 2: 61 mAh in each earbud and 472 mAh in the case.

Let us remind you that Samsung’s big summer presentation is scheduled to take place on August 11. It is expected to feature folding smartphones Galaxy Z Flip 3 and Galaxy Z Fold 3, smart watches Galaxy Watch 4 and possibly Galaxy S21 FE.
