Samsung ends support for four older smartphones

Samsung has updated on its official website the list of devices that receive support in the form

fresh updates. And there are changes in it.

Who are we saying goodbye to?

Thus, Samsung has stopped supporting four older models. These are inexpensive smartphones Galaxy J3 Pop, Galaxy A3 2017, Galaxy A5 2017 and Galaxy A7 2017.

Additionally, the 2018 Galaxy A8 will now havereceive updates not monthly, but once per quarter. There are also newcomers on the list - the flagships Samsung Galaxy S21, S21+ and S21 Ultra with monthly updates. And the new Galaxy A02 and Galaxy M12 can count on quarterly firmware updates.

By the way, initially the foldable Galaxy Fold 5G also disappeared from the list. But it turned out that this was just a bug that has already been fixed.

Let's remember that last year Samsung promised to release Android updates for its smartphones within three years.
