Samsung Galaxy A23 5G: 6.6" LCD screen, 5000 mAh battery, Snapdragon 695 chip and 50 MP camera

Samsung has quietly announced a new A-series smartphone.

What is known

The new product was called Galaxy A23 5G.

The gadget received 6.6-inch LCD display with FHD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. The screen is covered with tempered glass Gorilla Glass 5. At the top of the panel there is a drop-shaped cutout with an 8 MP front camera. The main one, in turn, received four sensors with a 50 MP main sensor. It supports OIS optical image stabilization. It is complemented by a 5 MP wide-angle lens with f/2.2, a 2 MP macro module and a depth sensor with the same resolution.

Galaxy A23 5G is powered by a 5000 batterymAh The charging power is not indicated on the official website, but presumably we are talking about 25 W. The new eight-core Snapdragon 695 processor is responsible for the performance of the new product. The chip is paired with 4/6/8 GB of RAM and a 64 or 128 GB drive. If desired, the memory can be expanded with a microSD card up to 1 TB. Out of the box, the smartphone has the Android 12 operating system and the OneUI 4.1 shell. The new product should be updated to Android 13.

Price and when to wait

Samsung has not yet disclosed the price and start date of sales of the Galaxy A23 5G. It is only known that the smartphone will appear in Europe and India.
