Samsung Galaxy A23 5G announcement: a simple smartphone with OIS and 5G

Samsung has unveiled the 5G version of the affordable Galaxy A23 smartphone, announced in March. The company did not name many

characteristics of the new product, but the keyThe difference, apparently, was the chipset. The Snapdragon 680 has been replaced by an unnamed eight-core processor. According to leaks, this is the Snapdragon 695, but the fact that Samsung is not publishing any details about the chip may indicate its intention to ship the new product with different SoCs in different countries. So we won’t be surprised if the Galaxy A23 pops up somewhere with Dimensity 700/810 or even Exynos 1280.

But the cameras and memory were definitely left withoutchanges. The five lenses include a 50-megapixel main module with OIS, a 5-megapixel wide sensor, a 2-megapixel macro sensor, a 2-megapixel depth sensor and an 8-megapixel front camera, and the memory capacity is 4/6/8 GB of RAM + 64/128 GB of ROM. The Full HD+ screen has a diagonal of 6.6″, but its other parameters are unknown; if there are no changes here, then we are talking about a 90-Hz IPS panel. The battery capacity is 5000 mAh; The fingerprint scanner is located in the power button. Samsung Galaxy A23 5G will go on sale with Android 12 and One UI 4.1, the price is still unknown.
