Samsung Galaxy A24: specifications and press photos of a new level of budget

Samsung this week unveiled the Galaxy A34 and Galaxy A54, which will form the basis of the Galaxy A lineup for 2023. However, ahead

there are many more interesting things.Here, for example, is the Galaxy A24, which appeared in a rather exotic place for leaks – in Israel. The local resource Gadgety published the characteristics of the upcoming budget newcomer, not forgetting to add a press photo in four colors – black, silver, lime and burgundy. Design without revelations: three traffic light cameras in the style of the Galaxy S23, a drop-shaped cutout for the front camera, a fingerprint scanner at the end.

Despite the wide chin, sourceclaims that the device will receive 6.5″ Super AMOLED display with Full HD+ resolution, 1000 nits peak brightness and 90 Hz refresh rate. The performance here will be handled by the MediaTek Helio G99 (4G version, we don’t have another for you yet), seasoned with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM (expandable with microSD cards up to 1 TB). The triple camera will include a 50-megapixel main (OIS, f/1.8), 5-megapixel wide-angle (f/2.2) and 2-megapixel (f/2.4) macro lenses. Selfies can be taken with a 13-megapixel front camera in the already mentioned teardrop-shaped notch. High autonomy will be provided by a 5000 mAh battery with 25 W charging. Mention is made of a 3.5 mm audio jack and dimensions of 162.1 x 77.6 x 8.3 mm with a weight of 195 g. The price and release date are not yet available.
