Samsung Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73 smartphones, along with the Android 13 and One UI 5.0 update, received the Bixby Routines feature (aka Modes & Routines)

Samsung has added the Bixby Routines feature to three Galaxy A series smartphones: Samsung Galaxy A33, Galaxy A53 and Galaxy A73.

What's new

The new feature is part of the Android 13 updatewith the proprietary One UI 5.0 shell. However, it is not entirely clear why the manufacturer still calls this function Bixby Routines, if it itself renamed it Modes & Routines.

In any case, Bixby Routines or Modes &Routines involve automating some processes on a smartphone. For example, you can create a routine for your smartphone to open Spotify every time you connect your headphones to your device. Or open Google Maps and turn off Wi-Fi once connected to your car's infotainment system via Bluetooth.

By the way, until now Bixby routines have beenlimited to Galaxy S10, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S22, Galaxy Note 10, Galaxy Note 20, Galaxy Z Fold series, Galaxy Z Flip series and Galaxy A52. However, the company has now added this feature to its more affordable smartphones with the Android 13 update.
