Samsung has released a new system update for its budget smartphone Galaxy A50.

The developers added the August patch to the firmwaresecurity, and also fixed some shortcomings of the previous software. In addition, the new update improves the responsiveness of the touch screen, as well as the algorithms for detecting moisture in the USB port. If water suddenly gets there, the smartphone will automatically stop charging.

The firmware received build number A505GNDXU3ASH4 and weighs about 200 MB. It has already begun to be distributed in the Philippines. A little later the update will reach other countries.
