Samsung Galaxy A90: the company's budget flagship with a Snapdragon 855 chip, a 48MP triple camera and 5G support

Samsung has quietly announced its first flagship smartphone in the Galaxy A line.

What is known

The device is called Galaxy A90 and it hasLarge 6.7-inch Super AMOLED Infinity-U display with Full HD+ resolution. The main feature of the device is its top-end Snapdragon 855 processor with support for the fifth generation network (5G). The new product will be available in versions with 6/8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of ROM. The built-in storage can also be expanded with a microSD memory card.

The battery is responsible for the autonomy of the deviceat 4500 mAh with fast 25-watt charging and USB-C port. A 32-megapixel front camera and the main one with three modules of 48 megapixels + 5 megapixels + 8 megapixels were also installed in the new product. The fingerprint scanner in the smartphone is placed under the screen.

The device runs on the Android 9 Pie operating system, on top of which the proprietary One UI shell is installed.

Price and when to wait

Samsung has not yet disclosed the announcement date of the smartphone and its price tag.
