Samsung Galaxy Buds Live: wireless bob-shaped earbuds with noise canceling and fast charging for $ 170

At today's presentation, Samsung presented another new product - the Galaxy Buds Live wireless headphones.

Design

First of all, the headphones stand out for theirweird shape - they resemble beans. Samsung says that they follow the shape of the auricle, so they sit securely in the ears and do not cause discomfort during prolonged use. There are no ear pads here, but there are holes for ventilation on the case.

The case is protected according to the IPX2 standard, that is, it is not afraid of a damp environment, but the headphones cannot be immersed in water - only wipe with a damp cloth.

What can

Galaxy Buds Live received an activenoise cancellation thanks to three microphones in each earbud - two external and one internal. According to the manufacturer, low-frequency noise in the range below 700 Hz (such as a bus or train passing nearby) is reduced by 97%.

A 12mm speaker is responsible for playbackwith bass channel from AKG. Galaxy Buds Live also has a built-in vibration bone conduction sensor and an accelerometer that detects the user's mouth movements and head position, which will ensure voice quality during calls. The earphone can also be used as a microphone when recording video on Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra smartphones. For example, if you are conducting an interview or just making an interesting video.

Connection occurs via Bluetooth 5.0, and control is done by touch via the touch panel. There's also a dedicated gaming mode that reduces audio latency.

Each earphone has a battery with a capacity of60 mAh, in the charging case there is a 472 mAh battery. This results in up to 29 hours of battery life (with noise cancellation disabled). 5 minutes of fast charging will add another 1 hour of use. Qi wireless charging is supported, so you can charge the headphones from a smartphone that supports reverse charging (for example, the Galaxy Note 20 and Note 20 Ultra).
