Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 received One UI 4.1.1 firmware with Android 12L operating system

Samsung continues to push Android 12L software to foldable smartphones.

This time the update came to the model of the last generation Samsung Galaxy Fold 2. The 2020 flagship received the Android 12L operating system along with proprietary firmware One UI 4.1.1.

The update brought an updated taskbar andadds quick launch gestures for multitasking modes. Also, the latest version of One UI 4.1.1 improves search in the My Files application, expands wallpaper customization options, and adds a text extraction function using the camera.

The update for Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 is already available in Europe. Firmware number F916BXXU2HVHA was released in Germany. The new version of One UI 4.1.1 brings the September 2022 security patch.
