Samsung Galaxy S10, S10 + and S10e received new software: Auto Hotspot function and the ability to control devices from the notification curtain

Samsung continues to improve its flagship Galaxy S10 line of smartphones through software updates.


The company's developers have rolled out new firmware for the Galaxy S10, Galaxy S10+ and Galaxy S10e, still based on Android Pie. The update weighs 284 MB and adds several useful innovations.

The system now has the ability to manage othersdevices through the notification shade. For example, control the volume of a Bluetooth speaker or change channels on a smart TV. By the way, this feature was noticed in the beta version of Android 10 with the One UI 2.0 shell.

They also added the Auto Hotspot function to the firmware,which allows you to share your Internet connection with tablets or smartphones connected to the same Samsung account. Naturally, it also did not go without correcting the errors of the previous software.

When to expect

The update has so far begun to be received by smartphone users in Germany and Switzerland. A little later, the firmware will appear in other regions.
