Samsung Galaxy S21 + hits Geekbench: Snapdragon 875 processor and Android 11 OS onboard

Recently, journalists from Android Police published detailed specifications of the Galaxy S21 smartphones. Now one of

models were spotted in the Geekbench database.

What is known

We are talking about the Galaxy S21+.The device has been tested with model number SM-G996U. The leak confirms previous information about the new product. The smartphone, as expected, will be equipped with an eight-core Lahaina processor. This is the codename for the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 875 chip, which will debut early next month at the Qualcomm Tech Summit 2020 event. The SoC will be paired with 8 GB of RAM. The smartphone will also be equipped with the latest version of Android 11 OS.

Let us remind you that the Galaxy S21+ is also credited with 6.7-inch display at 120 Hz. Unlike the Ultra version, the device will have FHD+ resolution. It should also be equipped with a triple main camera of 64 MP + 12 MP + 12 MP, a 4800 mAh battery, a 5G modem, Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.1. The device will hit the market in three colors: Phantom Silver, Phantom Black and Phantom Violet.

Price and when to wait

How much the Galaxy S21+ will cost is still unknown. The smartphone should be presented in early January along with other models in the line.
