Samsung Galaxy S23 series became a bestseller: results of the first 2 months

For several years now, each new generation of Samsung Galaxy S flagships has sold worse than the previous one. If

Galaxy S10 series in the first two months of salessold over 16 million units, the S20 got 8.2 million in the first month, the S21 barely scraped together 10 million in FIVE months, and the S22 reached the bar of about 5.5 million units in the first two months. It seemed that in many ways the second generation of the Galaxy S23 would continue the downward trend, but this time Samsung suddenly got lucky.

According to the South Korean edition of Yonhap News,Samsung managed to sell about 11 million units of the Galaxy S23 series - twice as many as the S22 a year earlier. Samsung reports that in Latin America, sales of new flagships soared 1.7 times, in Europe - 1.5 times, and in India - 1.4 times. But the Koreans, alas, hush up the indicators in the USA. The most popular model of the trio remains the Galaxy S23 Ultra, which accounts for 60% of sales. The younger S23 and S23+ take 20% each. It is possible that one of the reasons for such unexpected success was the decision of Samsung to abandon the Exynos chips and sell the Snapdragon version of the Galaxy S23 in all countries without exception.
