Samsung Galaxy S23 will receive a special version of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 instead of Exynos

Well, now it’s absolutely certain, official, and that’s all – Samsung ditches Exynos for flagship series

Galaxy SThe company announced this on social networks together with Qualcomm at the announcement of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. But this is not all the good news that there is on this topic. A well-known leak source on Samsung UniverseIce has found out that the Galaxy S23 will receive a special overclocked edition of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Its CPU frequency will be increased from 3.2 GHz to 3.36 GHz, and the GPU – from 680 MHz to 719 MHz.

This is probably what was meant bySnapdragon Pro-series in Samsung's presentation as a key partner, and the Koreans themselves will try to make this one of the main advantages of the Galaxy S23 series, which will not get too many differences from its predecessors. The question of the cooling system will remain open. We will receive answers in the first quarter of 2023.
